The Weekly Bloom #2

A weekly photo series sharing glimpses of beauty from my garden to start the week - with limited commentary.

Installed a netting for support since some of the plants have been flopping over from recent rainstorms - there are also dahlias coming up in this bed!

Pink lady beetle on radish blossoms / tall marigolds + nasturtiums that re-seeded from last year / winter-sown dwarf strawflowers - how cute are these??

getting crowded - had to cut back the nasturtiums (left, front) to make more room for the calendula / background: more calendula (pacific beauty variety), rose campion fizzling out

ageratum + bachelor buttons/cornflowers

this week's mini bouquet: señora zinnia, zinderella peach zinnia, plains coreopsis, ageratum, yarrow, eucalyptus, asparagus fern (yep, asparagus have popped up randomly in my plot!)

Bonus photo: a hummingbird! she was enjoying the fragrant sweet peas from a neighboring plot :)
