Strawberry Butterfly Pea Flower Tea Latte
A refreshing red, white, and blue iced latte - strawberry puree, oat milk, and butterfly pea flower tea make up this fun drink!
As mentioned in this post, the butterfly pea flower imparts a beautiful blue color, but doesn't taste much like anything. In the end, this "latte" tastes just like strawberry milk!

Strawberry Butterfly Pea Flower Tea Latte
Makes 1 glass
Ingredients:
1/4 cup strawberry puree (recipe below)
1 or 2 strawberries, chopped (optional)
3/4 cup milk (whole/oat/almond, etc)
1/4-1/2 cup butterfly pea flower tea
Ice cubes - enough to fill to the top of your glass
Directions:
In a large glass, add the chopped strawberries and puree. Fill the glass with enough ice to fill the glass to the top. Slowly, pour the milk into the glass. Then carefully, add the butterfly pea flower tea, making sure to hit the ice while pouring to help create the layered effect.
Strawberry Puree
Blend together:
1 cup strawberries (thawed, if frozen)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
Butterfly Pea Flower Tea
Brew 1 tablespoon dried butterfly pea flowers in 1 cup hot water, or cold brew in fridge overnight.
